ONCOCHART uses a Time Line Calendar (TLC) as a way of presenting procedures for a typical course of treatment. There are over 1,000 pre-defined TLC’s in ONCOCHART, each associated with a particular diagnosis and stage.
In addition to the pre-defined TLC’s, the physician has the ability to create a TLC of his/her design. This design can be one that is used traditionally by the physician or it can be one that is associated with regional or national research protocols.
As the course of treatment progresses, the TLC will display procedures that have been performed, missed, or encountered unexpectedly. This, in turn, allows the center to generate reports that project resource utilization, thereby streamlining staff assignments.
Utilizing ONCObillcheck™, ONCOCHART matches the TLC against actual billing as it occurs. This gives the practice administrator the ability to monitor and audit billings on a daily or weekly basis. Missed or unexpected procedures are thus immediately identified and corrective action can be taken without loss of revenue.
